# Update Segment

Edit a Segment's Name or Purpose. From an open Segment, click **Modify**.

**Name** | **Description**

Name | The internal name of the Segment.
Purpose | A description of who belongs in this Segment and why.
Submit | Click **Submit** to save your changes.
