The page status dropdown lets you switch which version of a page you're viewing and editing. There are four statuses: **Draft**, **Stage**, **Origin**, and **Published**.

You can change the page view by selecting any of the options from the [Metadata panel](/websites/page-overview/#manage-meta-information-with-the-metadata-panel).

**Name** | **Description**
:--- | ---
Draft | Private, unfinished version of your page.
Stage | Preview state for testing changes before publishing.
Origin | Non-cached version. It serves fresh content directly from the server, bypassing [Page Cache](/websites/page-overview/page-cache/).
Published | Live version of your page.
