# Add Experiment

An A/B experiment is a method of comparing two versions of a file to determine which one performs better in achieving a specific goal, such as increasing conversions or user engagement.

  1. Click on Add Experiment in the right menu.

  1. Complete the form in the modal window.
Name Description
Name Add the experiment name. The name of the experiment should be lowercase and separated with dashes.
Google Experiment ID Send conversion data to Google Optimize, which is integrated with Google Analytics, for
granular tracking. To leverage Google Optimize, create a new experiment that mimics the variations
configured in Solodev and place the Google Optimize key in the field.
  1. Click Submit.
